Job summary

Bennett & Son Ltd. in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across branches, manage staff, and drive sales and customer service excellence.

You will develop teams, maintain stock accuracy, and liaise with trade and retail customers, while ensuring health and safety, KPIs, and efficient processes across warehouse and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all branch operations, including sales, customer service, warehouse and logistics
• Drive branch performance to meet or exceed sales, profit and service targets

• Oversee stock control, purchasing and inventory accuracy
• Manage, motivate and develop a team of staff including sales advisors, warehouse operatives and drivers
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and deal with escalated queries or complaints professionally
• Monitor and analyse branch KPIs, reporting performance to senior management
• Ensure all operational and health & safety procedures are followed
• Support marketing and local business development activities

Job description

As a Branch Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our branches across Cambridgeshire, including managing staff, achieving sales targets, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency.

This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in automotive parts or aftersales, excellent leadership skills, and a commercial mindset.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am – 5.30pm and alternate Saturdays’ 8.30am – 1pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all branch operations, including sales, customer service, warehouse and logistics
