Job summary
Leek Building Society is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a busy branch, delivering outstanding customer experiences and achieving business objectives. You will recruit, coach and develop the branch team, building strong relationships within the local community and promoting Society products.
You will be an ambassador for the Leek Building Society brand, drive performance, and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal processes while delivering the Corporate Plan.
Qualifications
- Experience in leading teams that develop customer relationships in a face‑to‑face environment.
- Experience in a customer service environment is essential.
- Experience of working effectively as part of a team is essential.
- Previous line management experience/team leadership.
- Experience of working in financial services is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead daily branch meetings to set the expectations for the day.
- Ensure staff identify customer needs and promote Leek BS products and services.
- Manage complaints promptly according to the Complaints Process.
- Promote engagement with local communities and charities.
- Ensure branch operations are efficient and compliant with procedures.
