Position: Braking Systems Project Engineer

Location: Hybrid Working - 2/3 days on site in Surrey

Position Type: Contract

Outside IR35

I am currently recruiting on a behalf of a specialist high end low volume client who specialise in supercars

They are now looking for a Senior Chassis Engineer in Brakes to join their team on a long term rolling contract basis

Essential Criteria:

• Brake Discs & Callipers
• EPB
• Pipes & Hoses
• Cooling Systems (Brake Ducts) - 3D Printed Materials / Prototype to Production Intent
• Brake Performance
• Deliver engineering solutions for VP vehicle optimized through the learning developed om the mule vehicles focusing on: Pedal box tech Spec
• Pedal/booster connection Tech Spec
• Pedal box and pedal/booster validation process definition
• Test standard definition for pedal box and pedal / booster
• Disc / Pad / Calliper and integrated Parking Brake
• SAP part structuring / Component engineering part releases

Additional Information:

• Develop and specify GD&T data set on CAD models or drawings, taking into account all inputs from parts suppliers, assembly processes and dimensional management studies
• Creating presentation material for Design Reviews
• Deliver the system architecture design using Catia V5/V6
• Maintenance and update of the section book
• 3D package modelling
• Support interface with styling
