Job summary

Hariley Solutions West Midlands is seeking a Press Brake Operative for a long-term manufacturing role in the Stafford area. The position offers 4 on/4 off shifts from 06:00 to 18:00 with an immediate start.

You will operate and set Press Brake machinery, align tooling, and ensure parts meet exact specifications. Applicants should have proven Press Brake or sheet metal fabrication experience, strong mechanical understanding, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating Press Brake machinery.
• Good knowledge of tooling and metalworking processes.
• Strong mechanical understanding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate Press Brake machinery to form sheet metal parts.
• Set and adjust machinery for production runs.
• Change tooling as required for different parts.
• Fold sheet metal up to 10mm thick and 4m wide.
• Read engineering drawings and follow specifications.
• Produce components accurately and consistently.
• Perform quality checks during production.
• Identify and report quality issues.
• Maintain tooling and equipment in good condition.
• Keep the work area clean and organised.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
