At Pilgrim’s Europe, we are passionate about producing high-quality food and committed to excellence across our business. We are currently seeking a Boxstore Operative to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe – Bodmin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee receipt, storage, and transportation of packaging goods such as labels, films, sleeves, and cartons.
  • Ensure timely and accurate unloading, storage, and distribution of stock.
  • Maintain accurate records, conduct stock takes, and monitor stock levels.
  • Ensure equipment safety and proper use within the boxing area.
  • Assist with quality checks and correct labelling to prevent errors.
  • Maintain 5S standards and support smooth operations in the Box Store area.
  • Undertake additional training or duties as required.
Key Accountabilities
  • Report and resolve stock discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with teams and management.
  • Handle delivery paperwork and resolve issues with incoming materials.
  • Support continuous improvement and uphold site policies, quality, and safety procedures.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong computer skills and experience with stock management systems (e.g., Arolink).
  • Understanding of production planning and financial implications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Mandatory reach truck licence.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
Stakeholder Interaction

Internal: Area Manager, Boxstore team, site colleagues, purchasing department.

External: Delivery drivers, supplier representatives.
