At Pilgrim’s Europe, we are driven by our passion for producing high-quality food and our commitment to excellence across every part of our business. We are currently seeking a Boxstore Operative to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe – Bodmin.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the receipt, storage, and onward transportation of labels, films, sleeves, cartons, and other packaging goods.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate unloading, storage, and distribution of stock to correct locations across the site.
  3. Maintain accurate records, complete stock takes, and monitor stock levels.
  4. Ensure all equipment is safe to operate and always used within the designated boxing area.
  5. Assist with quality checking and correct labelling to avoid mix-ups.
  6. Maintain 5S standards and support smooth operations across the Box Store area.
  7. Undertake additional training or duties as required.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Report and resolve stock discrepancies.
  2. Communicate clearly with internal teams and management.
  3. Handle delivery paperwork, check and store goods correctly, and resolve any issues with incoming materials.
  4. Support continuous improvement and uphold site policies, quality, and safety procedures.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong computer skills.
  • Experience using stock management systems (e.g., Arolink).
  • Understanding of daily production planning and basic financial implications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Licence to operate reach truck is mandatory.
  • Good level of English, both written and verbal.
