The Administration Manager will have direct responsibility for the SoT BCSP admin team, also acting as a deputy for the Programme Manager when appropriate making decisions that ensure the efficient running for SoT BCSP.
Predominantly this role will manage day-to-day operational management of all non-clinical services and staff within our service but also act as deputy appropriately across all dimensions of the programme when necessary. Liaising closely with the Lead Specialist screening practitioners (SSP's)
They will manage data quality and supporting the achievement of the service KPI's.
Representing the programme regionally or nationally as required to promote benefits of the screening programme.
The role will directly manage the BCSP administration team, assuring the day-to-day operational management in the provision of an effective administrative and clerical support service to the clinical staff and screening participants where appropriate. The role will actively advise & support service developments/service changes required in terms of national programme delivery to ensure safe and effective working processes.The role willalso have a significant independent workload, leading on a few initiatives with freedom to act aligned to national requirements that support the Bowel Cancer Screening programme, including promoting the benefits of the programme and representing the centre at a Regional & National level.
The post holder will have expert knowledge of the screening programme and be able to offer advice and information to the wider multi-professional team, allied health professionals, patients and their families/carers and partner organisations, using excellent leadership skills, our Trust ICORE values and communications to foster productive relationships across departments and organisational boundaries.
