Hospitality & Retail Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Manager for a chic Tea Shop in St Albans. You will welcome customers, determine tea interests, and help operate daily service in a boutique setting.

You will support the Retail Manager, prepare tea and beverages, assist with upselling, maintain equipment and sanitation standards, and help ensure a warm, efficient guest experience. We offer training, potential progression, and a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or foodservice is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced boutique setting.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes customers by determining their tea interests and needs.
• Prepares tea or coffee and other treats.
• Generates revenues by attracting new customers.
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
