Job summary

Brightwork, in partnership with a well-established drinks manufacturer, invites applications for Production Operators at their Bathgate facility on a temporary basis with potential for ongoing employment.

You will operate the bottling line, monitor production processes, perform basic quality checks and packaging for shipment, with full training provided and a clear pathway to long-term work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' continuous work history.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Drinks industry experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate the bottling line to meet customer specifications.
• Monitor the production process and perform basic testing and quality checks.
• Package finished product for shipment and ensure readiness for dispatch.

Brightwork, in partnership with a well-established and highly successful drinks manufacturing company, is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for Production Operators to join their reputable facility in Bathgate.

This is a temporary position with the potential for ongoing employment, offering an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a leading manufacturer within the drinks industry.

Working Hours

Candidates will work one of the following shifts:

Day Shift

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 to 14:00
• Overtime available to meet business requirements

Backshift

• Monday to Friday
• 14:00 to 22:00
• Overtime available to meet business requirements
• Additional shift allowance applies

Pay Rate

• £13.14 per hour
• Additional shift allowance for backshift
• Overtime opportunities available

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

• A minimum of two years' continuous work history, which can be supported by references
• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Previous experience within the drinks industry is desirable but not essential
• A strong work ethic with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• A strong commitment to maintaining quality, health and safety standards
• A reliable and flexible approach to work

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and demonstrate excellent teamwork. Attention to detail, patience, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure are essential qualities. Prior experience as a Production Operative, Warehouse Associate, or Factory Operative is preferred; however, comprehensive training will be provided.
