Boots UK is hiring a Healthcare Logistics Driver to deliver medicines to care homes, patients at home, GP surgeries and Boots stores on an allocated route. A vehicle is provided and training is given to work safely using a handheld device with pre‑planned routing and navigation.
You will report to the Healthcare Logistics Manager, build strong relationships with partners, and ensure timely deliveries while following safety procedures. DBS checks may be required.
The hourly rate for this role is £13.12.
Joining us as a Boots Healthcare Logistics Driver (HLD) is a great opportunity. You’ll deliver first class care to those in the community who might otherwise never visit a Boots store. You’ll be part of a unique service that prioritises the patient behind the parcel; this really is a role that offers so much more than other delivery roles.
You will report into the Healthcare Logistics Manager and your role will be to provide outstanding customer care by delivering and collecting medicines from Care Homes, patients at home, GP surgeries and other Boots stores within an allocated route time.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries whilst following safety protocols. You’ll be provided with a vehicle that is maintained by Boots with all the training and equipment that you will need to work safely, including a handheld device that provides pre-planned routing and satellite navigation.
