Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a diligent driver to deliver and collect medicines from care homes, patients at home, GP surgeries and Boots stores within an allocated route time using a Boots-provided vehicle.

You will follow safety procedures, use pre-planned routing via handheld device, build relationships with store teams, and represent Boots Healthcare Logistics with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s driving experience.
• Able to read and interpret delivery routes and instructions.
• Enjoy following process and working at pace to achieve service levels and targets.
• Physical stamina and capability to work in a manually demanding role with heavy lifting.
• Comfortable using new technology.
• Calm in the face of unexpected changes or challenges.
• Comfortable in new situations and meeting new people.
• A genuine desire to help people and provide legendary care.

Job description

The hourly rate for this role is £13.12.

About The Role

You will report to the Healthcare Logistics Manager and your role will be to provide outstanding customer care by delivering and collecting medicines from Care Homes, patients at home, GP surgeries and other Boots stores within an allocated route time.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries whilst following safety protocols. You’ll be provided with a vehicle that is maintained by Boots with all the training and equipment that you will need to work safely, including a handheld device that provides pre‑planned routing and satellite navigation.
