Job summary

Accountancy Expertise Ltd invites applications for a diligent Bookkeeper to join their team in Chichester, West Sussex. You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients, handle bank reconciliations, and prepare VAT returns, CIS, and management accounts.

AAT Level 4 or progress toward it is preferred, with experience in Xero, Sage, Dext and Hubdocs advantageous. The role offers a flexible working environment with onsite parking, and occasional travel to other offices or client premises

Qualifications

• 2–3 years UK bookkeeping experience in practice
• Qualified or working towards AAT Level 4
• Good working knowledge of VAT schemes including margin schemes and CIS

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients
• Data input, bank reconciliations and maintenance of bank feeds
• Preparation, review and submission of VAT returns (including margin schemes)
• Monthly CIS returns
• Registration for government gateways
• Must be proficient with bank feeds, Dext, Hubdocs
• Adherence to internal workflows and deadlines
• Preparation of Management Accounts
• Undertake other duties as required by management
