Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is working with an established accountancy and tax advisory firm to recruit a Management Accountant/Bookkeeper for a remote role. The position supports ambitious business owners, high net worth individuals and international groups.

You will handle daily bookkeeping in Xero, post monthly wages journals and prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts. AAT qualification or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• This role requires recent bookkeeping experience including VAT returns.
• AAT qualification or equivalent is required.

This role with include daily bookkeeping in Xero accounting software, posting monthly wages journals and preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts.

The successful candidate will have recent bookkeeping experience including preparing and submitting VAT returns, along with holding a AAT qualification or similar.

This role:

• Preparing & filing monthly / quarterly VAT returns
• Preparing and filing monthly CIS returns
• Liaising with clients on queries and submissions
• Providing training to clients on Xero
• Reconciliations of control accounts

The Person:

• AAT Qualified or equivalent
• Commutable to and from Henley-on-Thames
