Job summary

Magill Adams Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisors in Lisburn are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our friendly and professional team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking a flexible role within a supportive practice environment.

You will handle sales ledger, supplier invoices, VAT returns and monthly accounts, with a focus on accurate bookkeeping and client relationships. We offer a 35-hour week with optional condensed week and generous holiday allowance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ computerised bookkeeping experience using Sage.
• GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above.
• Strong numeracy and accounting software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile sales ledgers and manage credit control.
• Process supplier invoices and run payments.
• Assist with monthly management accounts.
• Manage cash flow and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Handle general bookkeeping and admin duties.
