Job summary

Cannon Williamson Accountants is seeking a confident and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly team in a dual role handling VAT returns and bringing transactions to the trial balance, as well as preparing financial statements from client records.

The role includes ad-hoc administrative and payroll duties. The successful candidate should have knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and VAT, and experience with Xero is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping is required.
• VAT knowledge is required.
• Experience with Xero is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of VAT returns and bring transactions to trial balance.
• Prepare financial statements from clients' records.
