Job summary

Grafton Banks Finance is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accounts Semi Senior with practice experience who is looking to expand their skills and progress into a more accounts-focused position.

You will handle bookkeeping for a variety of clients and sectors, prepare VAT returns, manage bank reconciliations and assist with year-end accounts, using Xero, QuickBooks or Sage. This role offers an opportunity to grow technical knowledge within a supportive practice.

Qualifications

• Bookkeeping for a variety of clients and sectors.
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Self Assessment tax return.
• Bank reconciliations and ledger management.
• Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Eager to learn and develop and be involved with year end accounts.
