Job summary

A reputable accountancy firm in Reigate is looking for a Bookkeeper to manage diverse bookkeeping duties for various clients. Responsibilities include preparing VAT Returns, Management Accounts, and assisting clients with software queries. Ideal candidates have a background in client bookkeeping within an accountancy practice, are AAT qualified/part qualified, and possess strong skills in Excel, Xero, and VAT knowledge. Qualifications

• Proven background in client bookkeeping within an accountancy practice or bookkeeping bureau.
• AAT qualification or working towards it.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping duties for a variety of clients.
• Prepare VAT Returns and Management Accounts.
• Assist clients with bookkeeping and software-related inquiries.

• Working with multiple platforms such as Xero, Sage and Quickbooks
• Supporting clients with bookkeeping and software queries
• Open to Full and Part time applicants

The candidate:

• Background in client bookkeeping within an accountancy practice or bookkeeping bureau
• AAT qualified/part qualified
• Intermediate/advanced Excel, Xero
• Extensive knowledge of VAT (desirable)
• Extensive experience of Management Accounts
