Job summary

Confidential Camberley-based accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their close-knit team. You will manage bookkeeping for diverse clients, prepare VAT returns, and use cloud software like Xero, QuickBooks or Sage. The role requires at least 2 years in a UK accountancy firm and the ability to handle client relationships directly.

AAT qualification (or experience-based) is preferred, with flexible working options and a clear path for career progression as the firm grows.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice is essential.
• Solid working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks or Sage (ideally more than one).
• Ability to manage own workload with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude and confidence to communicate with clients directly.

Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking to join a friendly, supportive accountancy practice where your work truly matters?

TPF Recruitment are working on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in Camberley who are looking to bring an experienced Bookkeeper into their close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 2 years' experience working within a UK accountancy firm who is confident managing a portfolio of clients and enjoys the variety of practice life.

What you'll be doing:

• Handling bookkeeping for a wide range of clients across various industries
• Preparing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
• Using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
• Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting the preparation of management accounts
• Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and colleagues

RequirementsWhat we're looking for:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a UK accountancy practice - this is essential
