Full job description

Part Time Bookkeeper required - 2 days a week

We are a well-established education recruitment agency based in Harrow, who provide a range of services to education provisions across London and surrounding areas.

Due to recent growth, we are seeking a Bookkeeper to join the team on a part time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career to the next level with a very friendly and welcoming company.

• Enter correct data into financial records and recognise/correct errors
• Process payments, invoices, income and receipts while entering data into accounting software
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for clients
• Handle general adhoc duties as and when they are required
• Work as part of a team to ensure all VAT returns are completed and filed
• Prepare quarterly, monthly and annual VAT reconciliations
• Be an expert with XERO
• Credit Control
• Work closely with the company accountants

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' previous experience working in an accountancy practice, and will be at a minimum AAT L3 qualified.

• Candidates must be AAT qualified and have previous experience working in a similar role
• Previous double-entry bookkeeping experience
• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
