TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a successful and long-established independent accountancy practice with a close-knit team of 15 staff. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to appoint a proactive and experienced Bookkeeper to support their expanding client base.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong practice experience, looking to join a friendly and supportive environment where professional development is encouraged and recognised.

The Role:
  1. Day-to-day bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of clients
  2. Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
  3. CIS administration and monthly return preparation
  4. Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
  5. Supporting the payroll department as and when required
  6. Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and maintain strong relationships
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice
  2. Excellent knowledge of Xero and Sage bookkeeping software
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  4. Strong communication skills and a client-focused attitude
  5. Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  6. Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented
