Job summary

EQ Accountants, part of the Sumer Group, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to oversee a portfolio of clients from our Dundee office. You will manage supplier and customer ledgers, perform reconciliations, and prepare VAT returns.

You will set up client software (Xero, SAGE), train clients, and work within a collaborative team committed to accuracy and timely service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience handling bookkeeping services for a portfolio of clients (agriculture client experience desired but not essential)
• Knowledge of bookkeeping software such as Xero & SAGE would be desirable
• Have good numerical skills and excellent communication skills to talk with clients over the phone, on MS Teams or over email
• Be a team player and thrive in a collaborative environment, willing to share knowledge, support colleagues and meet tight deadlines
• Be comfortable with change and excited by the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment
