Responsibilities

• Deputise for the Lead on HTA activities advising staff on procurement, testing, storage, disposal, export and distribution of tissues.
• Act as deputy to the Persons Designate and HTA group contact when absent.
• Manage governance systems with the PD and DI to maintain quality and standards of licensed activity.
• Maintain service governance, audit programmes and coordination of donation and transplantation processes.
• Provide day-to-day guidance, training and supervision to staff, ensuring SOPs and HTA requirements are followed.
