Job summary

M&G in the UK seeks a Proposition Technical Manager to join the Proposition Team. The role provides oversight of life company investment bonds, trusts, and related documentation across onshore and offshore vehicles, advising on product development, regulatory implementation and operational change.

You will work with proposition, risk, compliance and operations to ensure customer outcomes and technical robustness, and may deputise for the Head of Proposition Integrity and Technical Excellence as

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of life company investment bonds and related trusts.
• Strong understanding of regulatory issues affecting life products and financial planning.
• Ability to interpret product and scheme rules, legislation and regulation.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert direction to internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislation and industry best practice within life bonds and trusts.
• Monitor regulatory landscape and inform stakeholders of changes impacting propositions and operations.
• Lead technical input to product documentation, literature and templates to ensure accuracy and fitness for purpose.
• Lead and manage technical deliverables for the Proposition Integrity and Technical Excellence team.
• Collaborate with Transformation, Risk, and Operations to deliver compliant, robust propositions.
