Job summary

Tata Technologies Europe Ltd seeks an Engineering Release Specialist (ERS) to be based at a customer site in Gaydon. The ERS will execute BOM releases, ensure data quality, and support programme milestones with cross-functional teams.

The role combines engineering data control with change management, emphasizing accuracy and timely releases. The position is open as an inside IR35 contract or full-time employed, with remuneration determined by skill set and fit.

Responsibilities

• Ensures engineering changes are released accurately and on time
• Provides BOM and commodity knowledge to support collaboration with Engineering, ensuring BOM quality and data integrity
• Reduces downstream manufacturing, procurement, and engineering issues
• Supports delivery of programme and vehicle milestone commitments
• Execute BOM releases in accordance with agreed priorities, timelines, criteria and expectations
• Manage assigned workload effectively to support programme delivery
• Conduct BOM and change quality checks before release (e.g Usage Universe), to ensure released data meets quality standards
• Collaborate with Engineering and supporting functions to understand changes and resolve data issues as part of the change management process
• Escalate any blockers and quality concerns which they are unable to resolve independently to Supervisors or Technical Leads
• Support resolution activities related to BOM issues in line with AIMS
• Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time
