Job summary

Tata Technologies is seeking an Engineering Release Specialist (ERS) to be based at a customer site in Gaydon. You will own the accurate, timely release of engineering changes into the BOM and ensure data integrity to support programme milestones.

This role requires deep BOM knowledge, data analysis skills and excellent communication with Engineering and other functions. The position offers either inside IR35 contract or permanent employment, depending on experience and fit.

Responsibilities

• Ensure BOM changes are released accurately and on time.
• Provide BOM and commodity knowledge to support collaboration with Engineering, ensuring BOM quality and data integrity.
• Reduce downstream manufacturing, procurement, and engineering issues.
• Support delivery of programme and vehicle milestone commitments.
• Execute BOM releases in accordance with priorities, timelines and criteria.
• Manage assigned workload to support programme delivery.
• Conduct BOM and change quality checks before release (e.g., Usage Universe).
• Collaborate with Engineering and supporting functions to resolve data issues as part of change management.
• Escalate blockers and quality concerns to Supervisors or Technical Leads when needed.
• Support resolution activities related to BOM issues in line with AIMS.
• Undertake any other work as directed by line manager.
