Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover contracts across Glasgow and Central Scotland. You will undertake the full range of asbestos surveys, collect samples and produce detailed reports for clients.

Applicants must hold a BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent, with knowledge of HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines. The role offers strong salary prospects (£25k-£42k DOE) plus training, benefits and career development opportunities. Overtime available.

Qualifications

• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within an established outfit.
• Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent.
• Well-versed in HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; flexible to changing client needs.

Responsibilities

• Producing site-specific technical reports and accompanying schematic drawings.
• Safely obtaining asbestos samples from site.
• Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys.
• Re-inspection surveys.
• Wearing correct PPE at all times.
• Providing regular updates to clients.
• Delivering samples to the lab for analysis.
