Slim Chickens Milton Keynes is hiring Back of House Team Members to join a fast-paced kitchen in a casual, energetic setting. You’ll help prepare and cook menu items to the brand’s high standards while maintaining cleanliness and food safety throughout shifts.

Ideal candidates are passionate about quality, team players, and flexible for weekends and holidays. No experience? Willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential for growth within BRG’s expanding brands.

Qualifications

• Fast-Paced kitchen experience.
• Knowledge of kitchen safety practices and sanitation.
• Strong communication with team and supervisors.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a high-volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking menu items to perfection.
• Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment.
• Following food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation, and ensuring freshness of ingredients.
• Working as part of a team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing and cooking menu items to perfection, ensuring every dish meets our high standards

• Supporting the kitchen team with various tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations

What We’re Looking For

• A passion for cooking and delivering quality food
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
• Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential!
