Slim Chickens Sheffield Meadowhall is seeking a Back of House Supervisor to oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food preparation and high-quality dishes in a fast-paced setting.

You will mentor staff, manage inventory and hygiene, and collaborate with Front of House to deliver smooth service. Weekend and late shifts are required. Join BRG for growth and strong team culture.

Formación

• Experience supervising a kitchen in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Culinary degree or formal kitchen training.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team.

Responsabilidades

• Overseeing all back-of-house operations to ensure efficient and consistent food preparation.
• Leading, mentoring, and motivating the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Managing inventory, monitoring food stock, and ensuring timely ordering of supplies.
• Collaborating with the Front of House Supervisor to ensure seamless service.
• Handling kitchen-related issues and resolving them promptly to maintain smooth operations.
• Supporting staff training and development to uphold our brand’s high standards.
• Creating a positive, productive work environment where the kitchen team can thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or similar fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a kitchen team
• A passion for delivering consistent, high-quality food
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
• A deep understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure
• Flexible, availability that includes weekends, late nights and bank holidays – we’re always on the go!
