Position Overview

The Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) Design-Build Military Flight Test Instrumentation team is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer located in Berkeley, MO. We are hiring for a range of experience levels, including Entry Level and Associate.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite at the listed location.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish the system design.
  • Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.
  • Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze/report test results to validate system requirements.
  • Define and document certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies.
  • Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
  • Develop analytical processes/tools to improve development effectiveness, quality, and efficiency.
  • Investigate emerging technologies for future product designs.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
  • 1+ years of experience with stress or structural analysis.
  • 1+ years of experience with CAD software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience with Boeing Analysis Tools (e.g., Common Structures Workstation, XSA).
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis software (e.g., FEMAP, Hyperworks, PATRAN/NASTRAN, ABAQUS).

Salary ranges vary by experience level: Entry-level: $65,450 - $88,550; Associate level: $76,500 - $103,500.

Relocation assistance may be available. The position is not contingent upon program awards.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in St. Louis, MO.
