Position Overview

The Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) Design-Build Military Flight Test Instrumentation team seeks a Manufacturing Engineer in Berkeley, MO. The role involves provisioning Flight Test Instrumentation hardware across multiple aircraft platforms, focusing on fabrication and installation of mechanical and electrical hardware for flight test data systems. The engineer will oversee the entire production cycle, from engineering review to installation support.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize test hardware & instrumentation requirements for flight test support.
• Review design models and drawings, create/review redlines, and coordinate updates.
• Develop manufacturing plans for hardware build.
• Source fabrication and assembly components, create work statements.
• Coordinate fabrication and liaise with suppliers.
• Procure parts/materials and support test hardware installation at the aircraft.
• Assist manufacturing tasks across Boeing sites as needed.
• Coordinate with flight test teams, engineers, technicians, and suppliers.

Qualifications

Basic:

• Bachelor's in engineering, manufacturing tech, chemistry, physics, math, data science, or computer science.
• 1+ years experience with 3D modeling software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

• 3+ years related experience or equivalent education.
• Experience developing manufacturing plans and work instructions.
• Experience with CAD tools like Siemens NX, CATIA.
• Knowledge of machine shop processes, prototype development, or fabrication.

Additional Information

This role is onsite in Berkeley, MO. Candidates must meet export control and security clearance requirements, including U.S. citizenship. The position offers relocation assistance, competitive pay ($63,750 - $102,350 depending on experience), and a comprehensive benefits package.
