Bodyshop Technician | Sherfield on Loddon, Hook | Full Time | Working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday | £25,000-£32,000 per annum

Our client provides professional restoration and repair services for classic and modern vehicles, specialising in high-quality paintwork. From collision damage repairs to complete bodywork restorations, they promise top-quality workmanship every time, with no compromise. Their bodyshop is equipped with a state-of-the-art heated spray booth to ensure every vehicle’s paintwork is of the highest possible standard and this has resulted in concours awards at many prestigious events including; Salon Privé, The RAC Club Annual Concours and most recently the 2025 Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Own transport is essential due to the remote location
  • Previous bodyshop or vehicle paint experience is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, able to achieve high-quality finishes with no compromise
  • Good knowledge of prep work standards, including, sanding, priming, filler work and masking
  • Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining a professional finish
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with customers where required
  • Commitment to health and safety, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of equipment, paints and chemicals

What will your role look like?

  • Prepare and spray vehicle bodywork to a high standard
  • Carry out paint preparation, including removal of existing finishes, minor repairs, primer spraying, filler work, cleaning and polishing
  • Undertake spraying of primer coats and assist with the application of final colour and lacquer (experience is advantageous but not essential)
  • Work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team
