Job summary

Euro Car Parts Ltd. seeks a Technical Specialist to support LKQ customers across a range of specialties. You will build strong customer relationships and act as the face of LKQ in the UK.

You will develop customers by training on latest innovations, colour, sustainability and best practices, while collaborating with suppliers, manufacturers and internal teams to enhance the technical offer.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or practical experience in Market/Paint Refinish/Dry Ancillaries.
• Knowledge of paint company product ranges and processes.
• Knowledge of dry ancillary company ranges and processes.
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders.
• Solid IT skills.
• Valid Full Driving Licence.
• Organised and resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to LKQ customers by winning new business, developing customer KPIs, and promoting product conversion and innovation.
• Develop customers by demonstrating latest innovations and best practices.
• Support on product, colour and sustainability.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, marketing, procurement, training and others to enhance the technical offer to strategic and regional accounts.
• Initiate new business, supporting ongoing exclusive product brands for LKQ.
• Demonstrate the financial advantage of LKQ group products and processes to customers.
• Stay informed about competitors, market and supplier activities in the role.
• Drive product growth by supporting LKQ commercial plans.
• Build relationships to expand collision sales within LKQ.
• Maintain high service standards and address performance gaps.
• Contribute to training and development of internal staff.
