Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting an experienced Commercial Vehicle Bodyshop Prepper in Arundel, West Sussex. You will prepare buses, coaches, trucks and vans for painting, perform masking and fiberglass repairs, and assist with restoration and accident repair projects in a busy workshop.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in vehicle preparation within a bodyshop environment.
• Skills in masking, filling, and sanding of vehicles.
• Basic welding skills advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing commercial vehicles, including buses, coaches, trucks, and vans, for painting and further bodywork.
• Masking, filling, sanding, and carrying out fiberglass repairs as required.
• Performing basic welding tasks to facilitate vehicle repairs.
• Assisting with restoration and accident repair projects.
• Ensuring vehicles are ready for painting or additional bodyshop processes.
• Working closely with team members to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Adapting to a fast-paced environment with patience and meticulous attention to detail.

• Competitive basic salary up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
• Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 – no weekend work

Requirements

• Patient, meticulous, and capable of handling complex projects such as buses and vintage vehicles
• Previous experience with restoration or accident repair is desirable
• Willingness to learn and develop within a busy commercial vehicle bodyshop environment
