Job summary

A reputable commercial vehicle bodyshop in Arundel is hiring a Prepper to join Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. You will prep buses, coaches, trucks and vans, performing masking, filling, sanding and fiberglass repairs to prepare vehicles for painting and final bodywork.

The role offers a competitive salary, Monday–Friday hours, and overtime at time and a half on weekdays. A supportive team and opportunities to develop skills in restoration and accident repair are available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a vehicle bodyshop with a focus on commercial vehicles.
• Experience in masking, filling and sanding processes.
• Knowledge of fiberglass repairs; basic welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial vehicles prior to painting or further bodywork.
• Mask, fill, sand and carry out fiberglass repairs on various vehicles.
• Handle restoration and accident repair projects with attention to detail.
• Perform basic welding tasks following safety and quality standards.
• Ensure vehicles are road-ready and meet quality requirements.
• Work efficiently within a team to maintain high workmanship standards.
• Keep the workspace clean and safe, following health and safety protocols.
• Adapt to the fast-paced workshop environment with patience and precision.
