Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a Bodyshop Manager for a busy Haverfordwest centre within a leading automotive accident repair group. You will oversee all operational and technical functions, ensuring repairs meet high standards and customer service remains top-tier.

Key duties include leading a large team of technicians and apprentices, managing workflow, and maintaining strong insurer and supplier relationships. A UK driving licence and health and safety knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day Bodyshop operations, maintaining high repair quality and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and support a large team of technicians, support staff and apprentices.
• Oversee workflow to meet productivity targets and track progress in meetings.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain relationships with insurers, suppliers and clients.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members and troubleshoot when needed.

Duties of a Bodyshop Manager

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Bodyshop, maintaining high standards of repair quality and customer satisfaction
• Support and develop a large team of technicians, support staff, and apprentices
• Oversee workflow, ensuring productivity targets are met efficiently
• Conduct daily production meetings and track progress
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
• Maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, suppliers, and clients
• Support troubleshooting, technical guidance, and training for team members
• Monitor and control costs to meet profitability objectives
• Ensure accurate estimations, vehicle assessments, and timely returns

Requirements of a Bodyshop Manager

• Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager, or at assistant management, foreman, or VDA level, seeking advancement
• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
• Methodical and detail-oriented work ethic
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points
• Knowledge of industry standards, health and safety protocols
• Ability to motivate and develop a team effectively
• Commercial awareness and ability to maximise productivity
