Job summary

Ludgrove School in Wokingham is seeking a caring Resident School Matron for term-time duties to help our boys feel at home and thrive both personally and academically. You will build positive relationships, support day-to-day welfare, and work closely with the School Nurse and boarding staff while promoting wellbeing and high standards of personal presentation.

Previous boarding experience, safeguarding training and a First Aid qualification would be advantageous and welcomed as part of our

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Caring, approachable and good relationship-building.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to promote wellbeing and personal presentation.
• Willing to contribute to boarding life and team.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with the boys and support their day-to-day care.
• Work closely with the School Nurse and boarding staff.
