Job summary

Lancaster Royal Grammar School is seeking a Boarding Matron for a fixed-term contract until August 2027. Qualifications

• Experience in boarding or safeguarding roles is advantageous.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
• DBS and safeguarding checks will be conducted on shortlisted candidates.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the pastoral care of pupils in the boarding house.
• Provide basic medical care when required.
• Undertake laundry and repairs to clothing and manage related duties.
• Work on a shift rota Monday–Friday during term time.
