Wells Cathedral School in Wells seeks a caring Day Matron to support the mixed boarding house for Year 4 to Year 8 pupils. You will work closely with Houseparents to help pupils settle into school life, support their wellbeing and assist with the day-to-day running of the boarding house.

The role covers pastoral support, first aid, medical liaison, coordinating laundry and travel, monitoring attendance, helping with house events and administration.

Competenze

• Experience supporting pupils in a school or boarding environment.
• Strong pastoral and welfare support skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Mansioni

• Provide pastoral support and supervision for pupils in Years 4–8.
• Assist with day-to-day running of the boarding house and liaise with Houseparents.
• Coordinate laundry, travel arrangements and attendance monitoring.
• Liaise with parents, guardians and school staff; assist with events and administration.
