Job summary

Sytner Maidenhead BMW is seeking a motivated Service Advisor to provide outstanding customer care and act as the vital link between customers and the workshop. You will inform customers about vehicle servicing and keep them updated at every stage, while liaising with technicians to ensure timely vehicle readiness.

Training is provided in-house and through manufacturer courses, with additional opportunities for career progression in a busy, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Strong customer service background would be beneficial.
• Willingness to learn and progress; training provided in-house.
• Working knowledge of Kerridge would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the vital link between customers and the workshop, delivering outstanding care.
• Inform and consult on vehicle servicing and keep customers updated at each stage.
• Liaise with technicians/workshop control about vehicle statuses and ensure timely completion.
• Provide best advice on Sytner products and services to customers.
• Build rapport with customers and identify their needs, even in a busy environment.
• Flexibility to work patterns that may include weekends.

About the role

We have an excellent opportunity available for a motivated Motor Trade Service Advisor to join our team at Sytner Maidenhead BMW

As a Sytner Service Advisor, you will provide outstanding customer care and be the vital link between our customers and the workshop. You will inform and consult on vehicle servicing, and keep the customer up to date at every stage whilst answering any questions or queries they may have. You will also liaise with technicians/workshop control about vehicle statuses and ensure that vehicles will be ready on time. You will also have the ability to give the best advice on our products and services to our customers.

This is a challenging role where customer care always comes first, you'll take the time to talk to people, build a genuine rapport and identify exactly what our customers want and need.

Sytner Service Advisors work a variety of flexible patterns which can typically include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.

About you

Don't worry if you do not have previous experience, we want applications from individuals with a willingness to learn and progress. Training is provided through our dedicated in-house Learning & Development team and outstanding manufacturer courses run by Brand to support your career.

Ideally, you will have excellent organisational and administrative skills along with good attention to detail. A strong customer service background would be beneficial as you will be delivering high levels of customer satisfaction in a very busy and demanding environment. Working knowledge of Kerridge would be advantageous, but not essential.
