Job summary

BMW Group UK offers a placement year in BMW Motorrad Sales Operations (Farnborough) starting July 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in fleet operations, sales support, and business administration within a fast-paced automotive environment, working with several stakeholders and contributing to projects that drive performance and customer success.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily/weekly/monthly tasks to ensure operational effectiveness of the team.
• Fleet management of internal fleets.
• Support remarketing to assist in sale of used ex-fleet vehicles.
• Provide sales reports to senior managers and internal departments.
• Benchmarking and KPI tracking of the Retailer network.
• Support wider team with ad hoc projects and day-to-day tasks.
• SAP administration including retailer payments and internal sundry payments.
• Support at national brand events.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across fleet operations, sales support, and business administration within a fast‑paced automotive environment. You'll work with a variety of stakeholders, develop valuable analytical and commercial skills, and contribute to key projects that support business performance and customer success.

What awaits you?

• Management of daily/weekly/monthly tasks to ensure operational effectiveness of the team.
• Fleet Management of various internal fleets.
• Remarketing support to assist in the sale of used ex‑fleet vehicles.
• Provide Sales reports to senior managers and internal departments.

• University degree in Business Management or other relevant subject area.

• Experienced user of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
