Job summary

Clear. is seeking a Technical Compliance Manager to own technical standards and compliance across BMS projects and service operations. You will drive QA, audits and documentation, ensuring alignment with relevant BMS/HVAC standards. A strong background in BMS, controls or building services and the ability to guide engineers and management are essential.

The role emphasizes process improvement, documentation quality and cross-functional collaboration within a hybrid UK operation.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background within BMS, controls or building services.
• Understanding of BMS design, commissioning and service.
• Experience with technical compliance, QA or engineering standards.
• Strong documentation and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate technical requirements to engineers and management.

Responsibilities

• Own technical compliance processes across BMS projects and service operations.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards and procedures.
• Review project documentation, specifications and technical submissions.
• Carry out technical audits and quality reviews.
• Ensure systems and installations comply with relevant standards.
• Support engineering teams with technical guidance.
• Investigate technical issues, defects and non-conformances.
• Produce reports and recommendations for management.
• Maintain technical documentation and compliance records.
• Support training and development of engineering teams.
• Work with project, service and operations teams to improve technical quality.
