Job summary

AWC STAFF SERVICES LTD is recruiting experienced BMS Service Engineers to join a smart buildings business delivering building performance and energy efficiency across multiple sites. The role involves servicing, maintaining and fault-finding BMS across schools, hospitals, government estates and MOD facilities.

You will work with Trend, Tridium/Niagara, Distech and Siemens, carrying out planned maintenance, fault-finding and reporting.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification (City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ) required.
• Experience with BMS, building controls or HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of Trend, Tridium/Niagara, Distech or Siemens.
• Strong fault-finding and ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics.
• Full UK driving licence and good IT/network understanding.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, commission and maintain BMS equipment across customer sites.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault-finding on BMS installations.
• Work with systems such as Trend, Tridium/Niagara, Distech and Siemens.
• Diagnose complex faults and identify remedial/improvement works.
• Provide technical support and build strong customer relationships.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals and quotations for additional works.
• Participate in an on-call rota with additional payments.
