Job summary

Pertemps Tm is representing a leading BMS business seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join their London team. You will work across retail and commercial office environments, carrying out maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on Schneider BMS systems.

The role offers £45,000 to £65,000 per year, a pension with company contribution, 25 days holiday, and training on Tridium and Trend. You will liaise with clients, produce service reports and ensure works meet health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing, fault-finding, and repairs on BMS systems across commercial and retail sites.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with BMS panels, field controllers, sensors, actuators, and associated control equipment.
• Work confidently with Schneider BMS systems, including identifying software, hardware, and communication faults.
• Attend client sites to investigate system performance issues and ensure plant is operating efficiently and effectively.
• Complete small works, remedial tasks, upgrades, and modifications to existing BMS installations where required.
• Liaise with clients, facilities managers, and internal teams to provide clear updates and professional technical support.
• Produce service reports, document works completed, and highlight any recommended follow-up actions.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety standards, company procedures, and client requirements.
