Job summary

Pertemps Tm in London is seeking a Junior BMS Project Engineer to support the design and delivery of technically complex BMS projects.

You will work with project, design, software and commissioning teams to create robust BMS solutions across mission critical environments.

This position requires a background in BMS, controls or building automation and a proactive attitude to project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with BMS/controls in building services.
• Ability to interpret specifications and drawings.
• Experience with commissioning and handover processes.
• Proficient MS Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver BMS/controls solutions from specification to completion.
• Review mechanical, electrical, BMS and project specs for risks and gaps.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation: equipment schedules, interfaces, topologies, statements and programmes.
• Coordinate control strategies, graphics, software information and deliverables.
• Arrange and support factory acceptance testing for panels, software and graphics.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful delivery and handover.
• Coordinate handover packs for operations and maintenance manuals.
• Support problem-solving across design, installation, commissioning and handover.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Promote safe working practices and high standards of quality and service.
