We have an opportunity for a BMS Project Engineer at Honeywell, in the North of the UK. You will be responsible for the delivery of assigned projects, identifying value engineering opportunities, and taking full ownership and responsibility for implementing and completing the design of projects with the customer. This includes skills and knowledge within BMS & control systems, HVAC control, integration, and applications.

Key responsibilities

1. Assist with input from various key internal and external stakeholders, including ownership of any subcontract designs (e.g., panels).
2. Work closely with the Project Manager to assist with the production and coordination of engineering/design submittals, including Equipment Schedule & Schematics, I/O data point lists, Device/Wiring Layout Drawings, and Installation/Commissioning.
3. Develop and submit FAT and SAT documentation for customer approval.
4. Compile Training Handover Documentation for each project.

Key skills and qualifications

• Experience in project engineering, particularly in delivering technology-based projects.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively and provide technical direction in a team environment, with a strong commitment to safety.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and project locations as part of the role.
