Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is working with a client seeking an experienced Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) engineer to oversee BMS performance and energy efficiency across a large estate. The role focuses on monitoring and optimizing BEMS/related systems to maintain environmental parameters and energy efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have formal Electrical or Mechanical qualifications, strong HVAC understanding, and familiarity with top control systems.

Qualifications

• Experience as a BEMS/BMS engineer.
• Good knowledge of HVAC Plant.
• Formal training in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
• Familiarity with leading control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal and reliable performance of BMS and related systems across the estate.
• Monitor, operate and optimise BEMS to meet environmental parameters.
• Identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and improve operating efficiency.

Alecto Recruitment is working closely with our client who are looking to appoint an experienced Building energy management systems (BEMS) engineer.

The Role:

• The BEMS Engineer will ensure the optimal and reliable performance of BMS, energy related systems and critical building services across the Estate


• Monitor, operate and optimise BEMS Systems, ensuring environmental conditions always meet parameters


• Proactively identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and improve operating efficiency

Requirements:

• We are seeking an experienced BMS / BEMS Engineer


• Ideally you will have experience or qualifications in one of the following control systems: Trend, Distech, Siemens, Sauter, Honeywell.


• You will need to have a good knowledge of HVAC Plant


• Knowledge of lighting controls would be an advantage


• Formal training or qualification in either Electrical, Mechanical disciplines.
