Vital Energi is seeking an experienced BMS engineer to join the Energy Optimisation team within our Solutions department across the UK. You will contribute to the design, delivery and verification of BMS energy conservation initiatives and support broader low-carbon solutions.

The role involves hybrid working with travel to project sites in England, Scotland and Wales, and to our London, Blackburn or Glasgow offices. A passion for net-zero energy performance is essential.

Qualificações

• Experience delivering BMS optimisation and upgrade projects.
• Ability to coordinate with BMS subcontractors and project teams.
• Experience with energy savings initiatives is advantageous but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out detailed surveys of BMS and HVAC equipment to identify energy conservation initiatives.
• Assess baseline performance of BMS control strategies via drawings, O&M docs, and observed conditions.
• Collect BMS logs or set up logging to model potential savings.
• Collaborate with BMS subcontractors to design and cost energy conservation initiatives for tenders and proposals.
• Create and review design data such as control philosophy, risk assessments, method statements, and impact assessments with clients.
• Ensure initiatives meet design specs within time and budget with delivery teams.
• Support commissioning, witness testing, and handover of energy savings initiatives.
• Support measurement and verification of guaranteed energy savings.
