Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Maintenance Engineer with a strong BMS background and electrical bias in Nottingham. You will perform PPM, reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on HVAC and BMS controls, ensuring system performance and energy efficiency.

The role requires hands-on diagnostics, ability to interpret electrical schematics, and a customer-facing approach. A full UK driving license and willingness to work day-time hours are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the Building Management Systems (BMS) industry.
• Strong electrical background with fault finding and testing experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC plant and control systems.
• Experience maintaining fans, motors, valves and actuators; BMS equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC and BMS equipment.
• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on fans, motors, valves, actuators, pumps and sensors.
• Perform electrical fault finding on control panels, wiring and circuits.
• Inspect, test and commission HVAC control equipment after maintenance.
• Produce detailed maintenance reports and liaise with customers and site personnel.
