Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a day shift at a premier South Kensington campus. You’ll join a professional on-site maintenance team, handling M&E, fabric, and building services to keep systems running smoothly.

Responsibilities include electrical/mechanical maintenance, lighting work, AHU/FCU upkeep, and monitoring BMS. Strong fault-finding, communication, and trades certifications are essential for success.

Qualifications

City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
18th Edition if electrically qualified.
Solid experience in commercial building maintenance.
Multi-skilled with strong fault-finding ability.
Confident communicator and team player.
Must be able to provide trade certifications.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical, mechanical, and general building maintenance.
Lighting: small installs, fault finding, lamping, ballast replacement, power distribution.
Emergency lighting testing.
Maintain AHUs and FCUs (filter changes, cleaning).
Water temp checks (no chemical dosing).
Monitor BMS systems and report irregularities.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors.
Keep logbooks updated and attend client meetings when required.
