Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is seeking a BMS/DCIM Controls Engineer to own the campus BMS and DCIM platforms, ensuring continuous monitoring, control and efficient operation of the data centre in Dundee, UK.

The role integrates telemetry from power, cooling, environmental and critical systems, developing dashboards, alarms and reporting to provide real-time visibility for the operations team and supporting capacity planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring BMS controllers, sensors and gateways.
• Experience developing DCIM dashboards and alarms.
• Knowledge of EPMS/SCADA/PLC integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operation, maintenance and configuration of the site BMS and DCIM platforms.
• Configure and maintain BMS controllers, sensors, gateways and interfaces.
• Develop and maintain DCIM dashboards, monitoring screens, alarms and reporting.
• Integrate telemetry from power, cooling, environmental and critical infrastructure systems.
• Monitor system performance and investigate alarms, trends and faults.
• Configure alarm thresholds and escalation rules.
• Develop operator dashboards for Operations teams.
• Maintain asset registers, control logic and documentation.
• Coordinate BMS/DCIM integrations for new infrastructure.
• Work with electrical, mechanical and IT teams for telemetry and control.
• Support capacity planning by analyzing data.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and site resilience.
• Assist with commissioning and testing of integrations.
• Maintain cybersecurity, access and configuration controls.
• Manage BMS/DCIM contractors and suppliers.
• Review change documentation and support incident investigations.
• Produce regular operational and performance reports.
